Definition of: Passover
(pas′ō′vər, päs′-) noun
1. A Jewish feast commemorating the night when the Lord, smiting the first-born of the Egyptians, “passed over” the houses of the children of Israel. Ex. xii.
2. By extension, the entire festival of seven days following the paschal supper; the feast of unleavened bread.
