1. Notwithstanding the fact that: introducing a clause expressing an actual fact.
2. Conceding or granting that; even if: introducing a clause assumed or admitted as supposedly true.
3. And yet; still; however: introducing a modifying clause or statement added as an after-thought: I am well, though I do not feel very strong.
