What does this expression mean?
i need an example for what this Phrase is trying to say :
“The will of a rational being can be a will of its own only under the idea of freedom, and that such a will must therefore, from a practical point of view, be attributed to all rational beings”
People can speak for themselves only if they are free, and if this freedom is to be found, it must belong to all rational people. If you want to be free, if you want to be able to think and act for yourself, all people must be free and have the same rights.
