I know that AM and PM are used in time. But what do they stand for?
Am means ante meridiem used for saying time before noon

AM stands for the Latin phrase Ante Meridiem, which means before-noon. Just incase you wanted to know, PM means Post Meridiem, which means after-noon. I learned this in second grade but forgot it until this year… LOL
