A permanent administrative association of 77 nations including the United States, constituting a specialized agency of the United Nations, with tripartite representation of workers, employers, and governments, working for the improvement of labor conditions in member nations, and functioning through the International Labor Conference and the International Labor Office. Commonly known as the ILO.
