A former British colony in this group, divided into the four colonies (former federated presidencies) of (1) Antigua, (2) St. Christopher, Nevis and Anguilla, (3) Montserrat, these three being members of The West Indies, and (4) the British Virgin Islands; 422.5 square miles; former capital, St. John's, on Antigua.
