1. The act of saturating, or the state of being saturated; full impregnation.
2. The impregnation of one substance with another till no more can be received. Saturation may be by solution or by chemical combination.
3. Meteorol. The filling of the atmosphere with any vapor to the point of condensation.
4. The maximum magnetization of which a body is capable.
5. The degree of vividness or purity of chromatic color, as indicated by its freedom from admixture with white.
6. A massive concentration, in any given area, as of advertising, military force, etc., for a specific purpose: often used attributively: saturation bombing.
