1. A structure, usually of wood or concrete, as a cylindrical pit or a tower, in which fodder, grain, or other food is stored green to be fermented and used as feed for cattle, etc. See ENSILAGE.
2. A deep cylindrical structure built underground for the housing and launching of guided missiles.
