Definition of: presentation

1. The act of presenting or proffering for acceptance, approval, etc.; especially, the formal offering of a complimentary gift.
2. Rare That which is bestowed; a present.
3. The act of introducing or bringing to notice; formal introduction, especially to a superior: presentation at court.

5. The manner of bringing into view, as a play, thought, or case; way of putting; exhibition; representation; also, that which is represented.
6. The fact or process of being present in consciousness; also, the object of consciousness, without added reference.
7. Med. The position of the fetus at birth: designated by the part that is first presented to the touch at the mouth of the womb: breech presentation, etc.
8. The condition of being placed in a certain position or direction, with regard to something else, or to an observer.
