Definition of: St Pierre

An island group off Newfoundland; 10 square miles; with the adjacent island group of Mi·que·lon (mē·kə·lô′), 83 square miles, it constitutes the French territory of St. Pierre and Miquelon; total area, 93 square miles; capital, St. Pierre. French Saint–Pierre–et–Mi·que·lon (sa·pyâr′ā·mē·kə·lô′).
