2. A two–wheeled barrowlike vehicle with a forward lip and no sides, for use in moving barrels, boxes, etc., by hand.
3. A two–, three–, four–, or sometimes six–wheeled vehicle used about railway stations, for moving trunks, etc.: distinguished as baggage truck, freight truck, or wagon truck.
4. Any of numerous small, flat–topped cars moved by pushing or pulling and used in stores.
5. Brit. An open or platform freight car.
6. Naut. A disk at the upper extremity of a mast or flagpole through which the halyards of signals are run.
